Academician Zurab Tskitishvili - 80

zzzzzzzzzzzzz8 nOn January 31, 2021, A Real Member of Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Secretary of Scientific Department of Food Safety and Food Technologies, Academician Zurab Tskitishvili has accomplished his 80th anniversary of his birth and 55th anniversary of scientific, pedagogical and public activity.
Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences congratulates Academician Zurab Tskitishvili with the jubilee; Wishes him a long, healthy life and fruitful scientific and pedagogical work for the benefit of our country.

Completion of a Joint Program “Sustainable Development of Agrosector: Implementation of

Educational and Scintific Practice.”


On January 22, 2021, in the Conference hall of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, a meeting was held which was dedicated to scientific-practical work carried out within a Joint Program “Sustainable Development of Agrosector: Implementation of Educational and Scintific Practice.”ggggggggggggggggg77g8 o 1
Meeting participants were: President of Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences Academician Guram Aleksidze, Academicians: Revaz Makhroblidze and Jemal Katsitadze; Director of scientific Coordinating Center of Ajara Zaur Putkaradze, Deputy Rezo Jabnidze, and Lasha Dolidze, a Learned Secretary of Environmental Protection and Forest Studies Scientific Department of the Academy.

Head of Ministry of Agriculture of Ajara adressed the meeting participants and said that there is a fruitful cooperation between Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Ministry of Agriculture of Ajara and which has very positive results, clearly demonstrated in the outcomes of cooperation.gggggggggggggggg222222321410328302779 o
Academician Guram Aleksidze talked about the effectiveness of cooperation and joint projects, and accentuated the role of the Academy in implementation of joint programs. He also mentioned the names of 15 researchers who are involved in preparation and working out of the recommendations in the leading fields of Agriculture, such as, plant protection, vegetation, livestock and agricultural mechanization.

Invited scientists and experts also talked about the researches carried out and fulfilled in the year 2020, which are presented in the collection of scientific works.

Full member of the Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Academician Yuza Vasadze celebrated his 85th birthday and 65th anniversary of scientific-pedagogical activity in 2020.

The Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences continues to publish important articles on the problems and future prospects in the country and around the world


chitanava nToday we present the article of Academician Nodar Chitanava, published in the international scientific-analytical journal "Business and Legislation" (# 2, July-December, 2020).

The paper presents proposals (recommendations) for the development of a land code, land cadastre, land resources use strategy on the relevant conceptual-methodological basis and directions for their implementation.
We hope that this article will be of great interest not only in scientific circles, but also in state organizations engaged in the management of Georgia's land resources.
